Courtyard Marriott Hotel

In 2003 Salhia opened its second hotel, the Courtyard Marriott in the Al-Sharq area of Kuwait City. Integrated as part of the Arraya Commercial Centre, this 4-star hotel successfully addressed the need for a high quality but moderately priced hotel near to Kuwait City’s business district.

With 318 rooms including 12 VIP suites, this contemporary styled hotel is housed in two towers connected by a double bridge at mezzanine level. With a striking eight-floor atrium positioned between the towers, a premium Italian restaurant, two cafés, a roof-top swimming pool, superbly equipped health club and a 24-hour business centre, the Courtyard Marriottt has added life and elegance to a previously under developed area.

Located next to the hotel, the Arraya Ballroom is also managed by Marriottt International Inc. This state-of-the-art convention centre provides more than 2,750 m2 of meeting space, bridal suites and offices on two floors. The main feature is a grand ballroom that is divisible into six separate halls or one huge space with a floor area of 1,800 m2 and an eight-metre ceiling height.
This exquisite facility is Kuwait’s largest indoor events venue, equipped with the most modern audio-visual and communications technology.It has rapidly become one of the region’s leading convention venues and in 2006 hosted the annual NATO Conference, one of the largest events ever to take place in Kuwait.
